It may be October, but since it was 79 degrees yesterday, I’ll share some photos of our summer.
This summer felt like it was seven months long, and in a good way. We travelled so much and spent time with our families. Maybe that’s why I never picked up my laptop, but really, it was one for the books. We went to Verona in June and ate all of the pasta, drank tons of espresso, and had gelato every day. It was pretty much heaven. We even braved a trip to Venice along with a million other tourists, but it was amazing. We left our stroller at home because we wanted to travel hands free, and it was the best thing we did! When the girls were tired, we stopped. When they were ready to walk or jump or run, we kept going! Traveling with your kids doesn’t have to be a nightmare, just give them the freedom to be kids and listen. Easier said than done, but we’re getting there.
We got lucky with the weather, and were outside pretty much all day. Also, the great thing about small cities, is that it allows you to go back to your hotel for a breather, anytime! It was the perfect trip, and we can’t wait to go back.
I have tons of photos to share, so be ready to scroll!!
I mean, Italy is just spectacular. The photos speak for themselves.
I hope to start posting regularly again. It’s hard to balance it all sometimes. And sometimes, I have to take care of my kid with their 74th cold. Isn’t school fun?! Germs, germs, germs.
I hope you’ve settled into your routine! We are back in Turkey and back in school. I love fall and the start of the school year. I’m a lover of routines. I thrive in knowing what I’m going to do everyday! Am I the only one?
Also, bouquets of sharpened pencils! (Name that movie!)
