So we just took our most spontaneous trip, ever. The best thing about living in Europe is being close to so many amazing cities, and Paris is always a good idea. Sammy had some time off, so we found ourselves Monday morning buying plane tickets and booking a hotel and throwing whatever clothes we found in our carry-ons. Yes, we travelled as a family of four with only carry-ons. I mean, we are changed people. I'll be sharing more tips about traveling with kids in my next post, but that was big! We hadn't been in Paris since Sienna was two weeks old, so it felt really nostalgic to be back. The skies were blanketed in grey clouds pretty much the whole time we were there. I think it made Paris look even more beautiful. Ha ha.
Paris is so wonderful to me. Maybe the only major city that truly holds its magic, in my opinion. Sammy and I kept saying out loud, "I could live here." I think it's because we DID live in France (what feels like a million years ago). It just felt so nice to be back. Lots of photos coming your way, if you'd like to see!
Not pictured was the many crepes these girls scarfed down while there. We had the best little break and it came in the perfect time. Basketball can be a little draining sometimes. I didn't feel bad taking Sienna out of school for a few days, because sometimes kids need a break too! We ate and laughed and basically froze together and I hope they remember it forever. Making memories with my girls (and my guy) is my favorite.
