All-Star game!

TGIF!

I feel like I've lived through two Januarys. The first month of the year always feels longer than normal. Also, the temperature in Bursa has dropped, so there's been a lot of running to the car to heat up. :) I read something the other day that said something like, "you can make it feel like summer in your house if you put the heat up to 80 degrees." I agree wholeheartedly.

Sienna has been on winter break from school and my sister is visiting for a couple of weeks. We've been spending lots of time eating and having long nights chatting away. Today the whole family slept in until 9:30 am, and this will forever be our greatest accomplishment as a family.

Enough about us, let's talk about Sam. He was chosen to play in this year's all-star game in Turkey, so we all went to Istanbul for the weekend. It was such a fun game since everyone was so carefree and just having fun. The girls had such a good time. After the game it got us talking about how far we've come as a family since he began playing. Sammy's made so many sacrifices for his career in basketball and for us as a family, and I just felt so proud. I took some photos with our new camera! Have a look!
